Seasonal Meal Planning Simplified

Tip Time Tuesday!
Our kitchen is the hub of our home (thanks to an open concept floor plan), so I love to keep things simple and streamlined as possible in that area!
For Meal Planning, I decided it needed to be as minimal & efficient as possible. With my family, ministry, a thriving business, and this little blog, my plate is pretty full when it comes to commitments (as most women tend to be)! I always have heard that the best ideas are born out of necessity. So with a necessity for simplicity in the kitchen, here's what I came up with...
I plan four weeks worth of meals in my and then we rotate through those four meal plans for three months.
This plan actually works out very well for our family! The meals & grocery lists are both made at the same time. Having our meals & grocery lists already put together minimalizes how often we ditch the kitchen for takeout, AND it saves me a TON of TIME! I usually spend about 2 hours total to do one set of meal plans (that includes finding recipes, planning out the meals, and making the grocery lists). By rotating the same four weeks of meals, I only have to meal plan a total of four times PER YEAR! What a time-saver!
It's that simple!!! Happy Meal Planning!
