Emily Ley Spring Launch!
I absolutely LOVE sharing things on this blog that make my life run a little bit more smoothly! For me that's a planner! My organizing heart loves to get my hands on a fresh planner every year. There's something about that blank slate just waiting to be filled and creating a life full of joy! It's the small, daily decisions and choices that add up to a great life.
This week (May 17th to be exact), Emily Ley is launching her Academic Year Simplified Planners! Yay!
{The 2018 Jan-Dec version will launch later this year in September.}
There's always a lot of fun that surrounds the big reveal of the cover choices! Ladies and gents from all over the world tune in to her Facebook Page and Instagram feed to see the new covers! It's always a big, fun online party with other like-minded people that love joy and simplicity.
Emily's planners come in academic year & calendar year, and also feature daily and weekly versions. The academic year follows the school year from July to June. The calendar year runs from January to December. I personally LOVE that flexibility, especially if you are a parent with children in school or a business woman (like me) that works on a fiscal calendar. For those of you that don't know - in addition to this blog, I own a home-based direct sales business, and my company runs on a July to June calendar. So having that flexibility to choose a summer start or a beginning of the year start is very appealing to me.
Something else that I LOVE about this planner is the paper quality. It is INCREDIBLE! I am totally a stationery lover. I always look for paper that's thick, doesn't allow pens to bleed, and is smooth. Those qualities are a must to me... like deal-breaker important.
The binding has a very sturdy wire-o binding and also features metal corners. I am ROUGH on a planner - mine literally goes with me EVERYWHERE, so good quality is a must. I love that it takes a ton of effort in order for the coils to bend. I also love that the corners have metal protectors. The planner covers feel like a hard-bound book cover, so they are super sturdy and can withstand a lot of wear.
