Cabinets & Tiles

This week, our cabinets are being installed! We've waited two months for them to be delivered, and they are finally HERE!

For the cabinets, I did a two-tone look with the island & range hood a barn-wood gray & all the perimeter cabinetry white. I totally second guessed the range hood after the order was submitted, and sort of wish I would have done all white along the perimeter instead of showcasing the range hood. However, I am planning to hang a white wreath on the front of that cabinet to to keep the line of sight cohesive, so in the end, I think it will be beautiful!

The tile work has started as well, and I am THRILLED with those choices!

For the upstairs bathrooms, I went with a classic marble-look hexagon tile for the floors, along with a light gray subway for the shower.

For my laundry room, I chose a stunning cream/gray damask print tile! Oh my word! That paired with the minty blue walls is absolutely stunning in person!

My master bathroom was the central design point in our home. It's where all other designs flowed from. This room is designed to be like a spa. I wanted to invoke a particular feeling when you walk in there... so peaceful and calm!!! I think we nailed it with this one!

The floors have a cream tile tile with a brushed gray pattern on top. We carried that into the shower with 2"x2" tiles in the same pattern for the shower floor & inset. The shower walls & tub surround are the same pale gray subway that we used in the upstairs bathroom shower.
