Chocolate Chip Cheeseball

This week's recipe comes from my mother-in-law's kitchen! She has made this sweet cheeseball for years and it is delicious! This is a fabulous appetizer for a party or small gathering!

Chocolate Chip Cheeseball

Ingredients

• 1 - 8 oz. package cream cheese

• 1/2 c. butter

• 1/4 tsp. vanilla

• 3/4 c. confection sugar

• 2 tbsp. brown sugar

• 3/4 c. mini semi-sweet chocolate chips

• 3/4 c. finely chopped pecans (optional)

Instructions

• In Mixing Bowl, beat cream cheese, butter, & vanilla until fluffy.

• Gradually add sugars - beat until just combined.

• Stir in chocolate chips.

• Cover & Refrigerate 2 hours.

• Scrape out of bowl and onto large piece of plastic wrap.

• Shape into a ball. Refrigerate 1 hour.

• Optional - before serving remove from cling wrap and roll in pecans.

• Serve with graham crackers
