Let's Add Walls & Floors

We added some of our favorite verses on our framing. We really wanted to put a bible in the foundation too, but the concrete was poured before we got a chance to do it. Regardless, our home will be built and filled with God's Word, and I pray that everyone who visits will draw closer to Him.

Next, the sheetrock was installed! Most of it was already hung up by lunch time on the first day. Those guys are efficient. After that was hung, they had to tape, putty, and sand it, so that took a few more days to do. Seeing the walls in place (not just framing) made such a difference! It's starting to look like a real house and all is coming together quite nicely!

The hardwoods for the floors was also delivered, and those will be installed next. Our doors and trim were also delivered on June 25th, so that installation to start soon too!!!

So far, we are right on track to meet our September move in date, Lord willing no major delays happen between now and then!
